The Hollow Child

Samantha lives in a city with her adoptive family, after spending all her life living with different families and feeling that she doesn´t really fit in all the houses where she goes. The young girl feels like she connects with her little half-sister, called Olivia. However, one day her little and loved sister goes into the woods and she disappears without leave tracks. The search of the police to find the little Olivia the following days seems like it doesn´t give results. Is then when the girl appears at the house safe and sound weeks later and apparently without any damage. But not all is normal since Olivia´s return, because Samantha notes that she is not the same person and she also feels like her behavior is different than before her disappearance, which makes her return considered as a nightmare instead of a miracle. Samantha´s suspects about the girl takes her to investigate about the history of the village and to know about the evil creatures that has been living into the woods for centuries.

'The Hollow Child' is a new horror film which has arrived into the Mexican cinemas, thanks to the distributor Dark Side Distribution. The production has come to Mexico after his first released two years ago in Canada, country where it comes from, and United States.
