The Hard Stop

In 2011, a young, black and British man was killed by the London Metropolitan Police following an altercation. Duggan was arrested by police early one morning, and minutes later, died of several shots. The incident caused major riots in Tottenham and the news was discussed around the world, but soon became discarded from the main focus of media attention. So this documentary reflects on the murder of Mark Duggan picking up the story where media left and with the participation of several friends and neighbors Duggan, as Marcus Knox and Kurtis Hooke Henville, while struggling against ongoing discrimination in their daily lives. Directed by George Amponsah and scripted the Amposah own and Dionne Walker.
