The Great Flight

In the early years of the Franco dictatorship, Clara Pueyo Jornet escapes from prison of Les Corts in Barcelona, where her trail is lost forever. The girl has been running all her life during the Franco regime and now she has chosen to do it permanently. Her story also portrays the lives of many other women who, like her, are living in a constant struggle caused by censorship and repression. 'El gran vuelo' is a clear example of the evolution of women all over the years and the struggle for their rights. Despite having quite follow inequalities in the age in which we live, the feminist concept has grown gradually to make women feel more valued by today's society.
