Best Intentions

Isabelle lives in Paris with her two sons and her husband, a bosnian refugee, and she works as a teacher at a social center. Isabelle´s best characteristic is her philanthropy, what takes her to several humanitarian actions with the only purpose of helping the others.

One day, a new teacher arrives at the social center on which Isabelle works. When she feels how the new arrival starts to make her competency, she decides to motivate her foreign students to prepare the driving license exam. But a first bad experience with a worse instructor causes the social center´s director against Isabelle.

Is then when the teacher decides to start her own driving school, the first driving school for refugees in Paris. In this way, she propones herself to help these students to pass the driving licenses exam. However, the project will take Isabel to face with her environment, formed by a mother who has always compared her with her successful brother, and formed also by a family that starts to be tired of the lack of attention of the altruist teacher.

'The Good Intentions' is a film directed by Gilles Legrand, who has also co-written the film´s script with Leonore Confiño. The film´s release at Spanish Cinemas will be the next 13st of December.
