The Five Devils

'The Five Devils' is a film directed by Léa Mysius, and also written by herself with Paul Guilhaume. The story follows the life of a little girl named Vicky. The young girl has a very special gift, a refined sense of smell that allows her to collect scents in carefully labeled jars. She has secretly captured the scent of her mother, whom she loves above all things. When her father's sister breaks into the family home, Vicky captures her scent as well. In this way, the young girl will be able to transport herself to dark memories and discover the secrets of her village, her family and her own existence thanks to these scent bottles.

The film's cast includes Adèle Exarchopoulos ('La vie d'Adèle'), Daphne Patakia ('Benedetta'), Sally Dramé, Swala Emati ('La nuit d'Ismaël'), Noée Abita ('Slalom'), Moustapha Mbengue ('Maoussi') and Patrick Bouchitey ('Lune froide').

The film's soundtrack will be provided by Florencia Di Concilio. Paul Guilhaume will be in charge of photography.

The Five Devils' is produced by Trois Brigands Productions and F For Film, and will be distributed in Spain by Avalon and by Le Pacte in France.

The film has an approximate running time of 103 minutes, and will be released in Spanish theaters on October 21, 2022.
