The Fits

Toni is a 11-year-old girl, but she is not like the other girls. She doesn't like the same things than the others and she tries to fight with stigma of being a "tomboy". One day, she discovers a tight-knit dance in West End, a neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. In that moment, she fells in loved with the power and confidence that the girls have in those strong community and she absorbs routines and learns all of their exercises. Even Toni pierce her ears to fit with the dance troupe. In spite of all of her efforts, her desire of being accepted by the drill team will change when a mysterious outbreak of fainting invades the team.

Directed by Anna Rose Holmer, 'The Fits' is about the psychological portrait of an outcast girl, starring by Royalty Hightower.
