The Exile

'The Exile' is the first film directed by Arturo Ruiz Serrano.

During Spanish Civil War, Teo is destined to a little vigilance fort, which rests in a cold inhospitable place. Teo will meet his new companion there, Silverio, with whom he will have to live in the next six long months that he has to serve in that place. The opposite temperaments of the two men and the tiny space they live in will trigger some conflicts between them. The exterior war will soon be placed inside the fort in the form of insults, sarcasms and slights that will bring out the darkest parts of the two characters. The arrival of Chloé, a Polish woman they found unconscious and hurt, will be the straw that breaks the camel.
