Plot
'The Divine Order' is a Swiss drama directed by Petra Biondina Volpe that takes place in the early seventies. In a small town in Switzerland lives Nora, a young housewife whose daily life focuses on caring for her husband and two children. Nora and the other women in the community are completely disconnected from the significant social change that is taking place as a result of the May 1968 demonstrations. When they discover these facts, the women become activists and decides to fight for their own rights and freedoms, among them being able to vote in the elections just like the rest of the men. Starring Marie Leuenberger, Maximilian Simonischek, Rachel Braunschweig, Sybylle Brunner, Marta Zoffoli and Bettina Stucky, the film portrays a reality of Swiss history often forgotten.
