Plot

Daniel Mantovani is an Argentinian writer and Literature Nobel Prize winner, he lives in Barcelona since four decades. His novels describe with great skill the life of Argentinian village where he borns and lives all his life and he don't return since he was young and the life of the people that lives there. The city council named Daniel 'The Distinguished Citizen'. Daniel decides to take the naming and he travel to his home but he don't know that his travel will have an unexpected ending. Spanish and Argentinian Co-production directed by Gastón Duprat and Mariana Cohn ('The Man Next Door'). In his cast has Óscar Martínez ('Wild Dales') and Goya winner Nora Navas for Black Bread. The film was selected to compete in the Official Selection of the Venice Film Festival, the only film with Spanish participation opting for the Golden Lion.
