The Discovery

The love story of the film 'The Discovery' is set one year after the existence of the afterlife has been scientifically proven. This science fiction film features actor Jason Segel ('The End of the Tour', 'Sex Tape', 'The Five-Year Engagement') playing the son of the scientist that make the scientific discovery who falls in love with a woman with a tragic past, played by the actress Rooney Mara ('Carol', 'Pan', 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'). The film, which features Charlie McDowell in the direction, is based on the script developed by McDowell and Justin Lader. 'The Discovery ' is the second collaboration of these two filmmakers who debuted on the big screen with the direction and script of 'The One I Love'.
