The Dinner

'The Dinner' will introduce us to two couples who are sharing a seemingly diplomatic and quiet dinner in a deluxe restaurant. Both couples enjoy plate after plate when the tension causes a beginning to lose both nerves and manners. Their intention: to defend the innocence of their respective children, who have been accused of committing a serious crime. Dinner was developed in this way, while the secrets that keep diners from coming to light, something that cause something to happen that will move their lives forever.

Director Oren Moverman, who has two Oscar nominations in his film career, puts himself in charge of this thriller with the intention of recreating the events narrated in 'The Dinner', the Herman Koch's Best Seller who managed to take the audience award and was claimed Book of the Year in 2009.
