The Butterflies Man

Sergey is a former soviet soldier who is connected with Eastern mafias and lives now hidden in an old country house among vineyards. His strange and lonely life changes when he has to take charge of the raising of his niece Natasha, a troublesome 12-year-old girl. Something unexpected will come up to alter their lives for ever.

El Hombre De Las Mariposas is the story of two rootless beings that have been brought up in a violent context, both real and social. They have to face the challenge of coexisting and helping one each other and in order to do so they will feel forced to take out the little goodness they still keep deep inside.

The relationship between these two characters and the course of their story will have much to do with two other personae. On the one hand Jacob- Natasha?s stepfather- who is an underworld type involved into dirty businesses and that will play a key role in the girl?s future. And on the other hand Silvia, a doctor hiding a dark background who is meant to become the bond among Sergey, Natasha and their surrounding reality.
