The Boy Downstairs

Diana returns to New York City after a few years abroad and finds the perfect apartment in Brooklyn for a new beginning. During the first night in her new home, she discovers that her ex-boyfriend, Ben, lives in the apartment that is located below her. After an awkward and strange meeting, Diana proclaims her intentions of a genuine friendship; however, as old wounds open up, both Diana and Ben are forced to face the true nature of their feelings. 'The Boy Downstairs' tells the story of a young woman who will be forced to reflect on their first relationship when, inadvertently, she moves to her ex-boyfriend's apartment block. The film is the dibut of the English director and screenwriter Sophie Brooks.
