The Bar

After directing the ensemble comedy "Mi gran noche', Álex de la Iglesia ventures into a thriller. 'The Bar' will address a group of people who are captive inside a café-bar. They are unable to leave due to harassment by a sniper, they will not hesitate to shoot them if they dare to escape the bar. This will make the characters and confidences commences in emerging issues such as deceit, betrayal and guilt. Intimate conversations that will make the protagonists evade, at times, stalking the murderer. The shooting of the film began in February 2016 starring Mario Casas, Blanca Suárez, Secun de la Rosa and Carmen Machi will be in the new film directed by Álex de la Iglesia. It will be the third collaboration of Mario Casas with Álex de la Iglesia after having been in 'Witching & Bitching' and 'Mi gran noche'. It will also be the second time that Carmen Machi act in a film director after 'Mi gran noche'.
