Plot
Asian director Perry Reginald Teo comes up with a horror story starring Robert Kazinsky in the role of Joel, the father, and Caden Dragomer as Mason, his son.
The story takes place in the United States where a young single father, Joel, lives a series of supernatural events in their home and, therefore, suspects that his son is possessed by something similar to a demon.
All this reality will be complicated when the viewer is aware that Joel suffers from a mental disorder: schizophrenia. At this time, reality and imagination will cross roads and it will be increasingly difficult for the audience to guess if what the protagonist sees is true or is hallucinating, since the tape is taught from his point of view.
When Mason begins to show the first signs of schizophrenia (in the end it is a hereditary disease), Joel enters a loop of depression and anxiety that will make him think that what really happens to his son is that he is being possessed by a malignant presence.
At this moment the third protagonist of the story appears, Father Lambert, whom Joel calls to help and try to save his son. But this priest also has a past, and this past includes stories that previously failed with exorcisms and that will haunt him throughout the process.
