Plot
'The Absent One' is a new adaptation of the 'Department Q' novels that have been a global phenomenon. Mikkel Nørgaard directs a new film from the 'Department Q' saga, starring again Nikolaj Lie Kass with his character Carl Mørck. 'The Absent One' focuses on the investigation of the brutal murder of two teenagers in the 90s. The case was closed because a man had turned himself, telling the police that he was guilty, but he didn't have any motivation to commit the crime. That's why, 20 years after, the case is open again with Carl Mørck's team in front.
'The Absent One' tells a complicated and disturbing story. Carl Mørck must fight against the corrupt and powerful people. They hinder Carl Mørck his mission of resolve the crime. Nikolaj Lie Kass, Fares Fares, Pilou Asbæk, David Dencik and Danica Curcic take part in 'The Absent One'.
