Checkered Ninja

Álex is a seventh grade student. He is in love with Jessica, although she is from eighth grade. He has a stepbrother, Sean, and a stepfather, John, with whom he has a not very close relationship. He, and his best friend Odysseus, are victims of bullying by the bully of the special class: Glenn. Alex's uncle, who comes from a trip to Thailand, has brought him a ninja doll made of plush and checkered pattern. Soon it is discovered that the doll turns out to be possessed by an ancestral Japanese spirit.

The plush ninja will help Alex to deal with his problems: they will teach Glenn a lesson, and even Alex will be able to conquer Jessica. But meanwhile, his friend the Ninja has another mission in mind: He wants revenge on the Thai toy factory boss, who allowed the death of a child worker. Alex does not want to participate in the bloody revenge, but has sworn to help the Ninja, so there will be a strong contradiction there. In the end they arrive at a wise conclusion: it is possible to make the criminal pay for his actions without having to resort to bloodshed.
