Taking Stock

'Taking Stock' is an independent British film directed by filmmaker Maeve Murphy. It is a dramatic comedy inspired by one of the most famous couples in history Bonnie and Clyde.

Kate is an actress who failed miserably when she followed her acting career so nowadays she has to work as a shop assistant. Her world will fall apart when her boss fires her alongside her co-workers and friends. She won't be able to pay the bills and keep her lifestyle as it is if she does not have money to pay for it- Inspired by an amount of pictures of Bonnie Parker she decides to change things. After meeting her friends and convincing them, she will embark on a mission with no way out. She's determined to rob the shop. But, where's her Clyde?
