Sweetheart

Lisa Azuelos ('LOL') presents her new film as director and writer, 'Sweetheart'. This French and Belgian co-production has Sandrine Kiberlain and Thaïs Alessandrin as main actresses. 'Sweetheart' is a story about motherhood.

The film focuses on Heloïse (Sandrine Kiberlain), a woman who is the mother of three children. Her young daughter, Jade (Thais Alessandrin), has made the decision to go to study in Canada. Heloïse will gradually feel the empty nest syndrome and will try to take advantage of the time until her daughter leaves longing for and accumulating new memories, in addition to planning her life alone. Héloïse will see her stress increase and she will not be able to stop thinking about all the moments lived with her little girl.

'Sweetheart' has been awarded the Grand Prize and the award for best performance at the Alpe d'Huez International Comedy Film Festival and was nominated for Best Film at the French Crystal Globe Awards although it lost against 'Cartas a Roxane 'by Alexis Michalik. The director signs the script with the collaboration of Taïs Alessandrin and Thierry Teston. The cast is completed by Camille Claris, Kyan Khojandi, Arnaud Valois, Patrick Chesnais, Yvan Attal, Lya Oussadit-Lessert and Johanne Toledano.
