Sweet Bean

Sentaro, the manager of a bakery store in central Tokyo, faces a friendly but strange old woman in search of a new job called Tokue. Tokue offered herself to help Santaro, as it has an ability for making dorayakis (pastries filled with sweet red beans sauce called "an"). Thanks to her secret recipe, the small business starts to flourish. Over time they begin a relationship based on much more than street food and will not hesitate to open their hearts and show their old wounds. The film is directed and written by Naomi Kawase, based on the best-seller by Durian Sukegawa and starring Kiki Kirin, Miyoko Asada and Etsuko Ichihara. The film, which lasts 113 min, will be released in Spain on the 6th of november.
