Jessica Harper gives life to Suzy Bannion, an American young dancer with a promising future inside of the world of dance. Suzy goes into to a renowned dance academy called Tanz and situated in the city of Friburgo. The same day that she arrives here, other pupil of the center, Pat Hingle, is found dead after of brutal murderer. Madame Blanc, plays by Joan Bennett, is the subdirector of the center, who worries, the first days, about the assistance that Suzy receives and for how she going to convert to this place.
