Strange But True

Filmed in black and white, 'Strange But True' tells the story of Jonathan (Kristyan Ferrer) and Yesi (Itzel Sarmientos), a couple of garbage handlers. They work with 'Maestro Limpio' in a garbage truck and they are in love with each other. Johathan and Yesi don't have an easy life but they try to keep their hands clean and not to drown in the urban waste. One night, they find a dead body in their work and an amount of money. Their boss seem to have a plan that it will change forever the life of the couple.

Michel Lipkes directs in his second film, 'Strange But True', a story about the meaningless of two abandoned characters and the tough existence that they have, very far to be a present from God.
