Plot
Documentary about the legendary actor Steve McQueen and the shooting one of his most memorable films: 'Le Mans', a 1971 film that focused on the enormous challenge posed for the runners of the famous competition held in Le Mans, France. The story tells how the actor did everything possible to create, what he regarded as "the definitive movie about car racing". McQueen was a devout lover of cars and had a great passion for this sport competition. The film delves into the most unknown parts of the production, shooting and post-production of this film that was so important to the actor. 'Le Mans' was the most personal project of this iconic Hollywood star, a production that was not understood by critics of the time, but which, however, four decades later, has become a classic in the history of cinema. Steve McQueen himself said: "When you're racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting".
