Plot
'Starfish' tells the story of an alien invasion and the end of the world. But it is told through a personal prism, focused not on CGI and strange beings created by computer, but on Aubrey (Virginia Gardner), a young woman who returns to the city where she was born to attend the funeral of her best friend, Grace (Christina Masterson).
The friendship did not end as well as Aubrey would have liked, which has especially haunted and worried the protagonist. For reasons she doesn't understand, she feels attracted to her late friend Grace's apartment, so she will go there to stay the night. When she wakes up in the morning, all civilization seems to have disappeared, and besides, she feels something strange that pursues her.
"Starfish" is the story not only of Aubrey's survival in this lonely and strange world, but also of his attempt to solve a mystery that Grace left in ramblings about "signals" buried in radio transmissions and "patterns" in tragedies and natural disasters.
The film is directed and written by A.T. White. In the cast we find Virginia Gardner in the lead role of Aubrey, Christina Masterson as Grace, Eric Beecroft as Edward, Natalie Mitchell as Alice, Shannon Hollander as Charlotte, Elias Brett as Somerset or Tanroh Ishida as Okami.
