Due to the animosity aimed towards Jar-Jar Binks, the most hated character of 'Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace', the working title of ''Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones'' was "Jar-Jar's Big Adventure".

The last scene in which Padmé and Anakin are looking out on the lake in Naboo along with R2-D2 and C-3PO, is a nod to the end of 'Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back' in which Luke, Leia and the two droids contemplate the space from the ship.

Hayden Christensen says he had a blast shooting the bar scene because it was filmed in a real scenario and not with blue screens.
