Plot
Sequel to 'Stand By Me Doraemon', produced in 2014 and first feature film in 'Doraemon' franchise made in 3D CGI animation, this production follows the alternative line of predecessor 'Stand By Me Doraemon' film. Directed by Takashi Yamazaki and Ryûichi Yagi and based on the manga by Fujiko F. Fujio, this sequel is based on the medium-length film 'Doraemon: Obâchan no Omoide', produced in 2000 and which came as an extra on DVD edition of 'Doraemon: Nobita and the Legend of the Sun King'.
Following his earlier adventure, Nobita has managed to change his future for better, getting Shizuka to marry him. However, young boy Nobita decides to go back to the past to meet his beloved grandmother, who died when he was in kindergarten and for whom he felt great affection. The reason why he wants to return to his grandmother is because he is excited that he knows his future, because he would like him to meet his future wife.
However, the Nobita of the future, who is about to marry Shizuka and fulfill his 'dream of happiness', suffers a panic attack before the wedding and also flees to the past, but to meet Doraemon again. The reaso adult Nobita escapes is because he feels that perhaps he is not the right husband for Shizuka. Because it coincides with the boy Nobita's journey to the past to see his grandmother, a series of setbacks and time travel will occur between the past, the present and the future. A roller coaster full of emotions, fun and suspense.
