In Nancy, a riverside town in the Grand East region of northeastern France, Sophie, a 15-year-old girl, tries to escape from her troubled family environment. While enjoying the spacious house, which she thought was empty during the summer, she bumps into her friend's older brother, Stéphane, who, by a twist of fate, was also planning to stay. But instead of kicking her out, Stéphane will decide to leave the door open by inviting Sophie to an unexpected summer.
