Plot
Billy 'The Great' Hope (Jake Gyllenhaal) is one of the most promising fighters in the sports landscape. He has everything in his life: a wife who loves him (Rachel McAdams), a daughter who adores him (Oona Laurence) and a dream come true. The problem will arise when the decline begins to peek through his life, risking not only their reality, but his own life and with it all he wants. Tragedy hits him hard and Billy is abandoned by his manager and best friend (Curtis "50 cent" Jackson). Pain and helplessness make Billy is in a crossroads not know the exit. The redemption will be the only way the boxer can keep to find his own forgiveness. Tick Willis (Forest Whitaker) will help him to get through.
