Plot
'Souls at Sea' is an adventure movie directed by Henry Hathaway ('Hangup (Super Dude)', 'Shoot Out', 'Raid on Rommel') written by Grover Jones and Dale Van Every. The story takes place in 1842, and tells the story of a navy pilot called Nuggin (Gary cooper) and his friend Powdah (George Raft) travel on board of the ship 'Blackbird' which carries slaves illegally. However, their situation of stability is altered after a series of events that will be a threat to their lives: a terrible hurricane looms over the boat at the same time that the two protagonists are victims of a mutiny. 'Souls at Sea' is a film full of action and tense situations dominated by fires, assaults and shipwrecks. Frances Dee, Henry Wilcoxon, Harry Carey, and Olympe Bradna take part of the main cast.
