Something in the Water

'Something in the Water' is a horror film in which a killer shark will wreak havoc in a beautiful destination where a wedding is being held. The film will arrive in selected theaters in the United States on May 3 distributed by Samuel Goldwyn Films and to the United Kingdom on July 5.

An idyllic wedding turns into a battle for survival. The film follows Meg, who tentatively attends her old friend Lizzie's wedding in the Caribbean along with her friends Cam and Ruth, as well as her ex-partner Kayla, from whom she separated after both survived a deeply traumatic event. This group of five friends must fight for their lives in open waters and face the dangers that come with them.

Directed by Hayley Easton Street from a script by Cat Clarke, this new survival story features Hiftu Quasem as Meg, Lauren Lyle as Lizzie, Nicole Rieko Setsuko as Cam, Ellouise Shakespeare- Hart as Ruth and Natalie Mitson as Kayla. In addition, Laura Costa, Clearco Giuria and Gabriel Prevost-Takahashi in the role of Dominic are also part of the cast of actors.

The producer in charge of the film is Julie Baines, with the executive production of Alex Hamilton, Anna Hintzen, Anna Marsh, Alison Meese and Jonathan Taylor. The music has been created by Nainita Desai and Harry Peat.
