Smoking Causes Coughing

After a fierce and tough battle against a gigantic evil turtle, a team of five avengers, known by the name of "Tobacco Force", received orders to stand down in order to strengthen the group's cohesion. The group is doing ok until Lézardin, Emperor of Evil, decides to destroy the planet Earth, and they have to step in.

The film was presented at both the Cannes Film Festival and the Sitges Fantastic Film Festival, where it won the Best Screenplay Award ex-aequo. A film from the extraordinary mind of Quentin Dupieux (director of 'Jaws'), this witty comedy stars Gilles Lellouche ('Les petits mouchoirs'), actress Adèle Exarchopoulos (the lead in 'Blue Is the Warmest Colour'), Alain Chabat and Anaïs Demoustier.

The 'Tobacco Force', a crime fighting group, is having trouble at functioning. After years of fighting enemies using their superpowers, chemicals that cause cancer when combined, the team members are lately out of sync. In this way, their boss will send the team to a remote retreat where they must work on their team skills.

This is an original comedy film that at times is reminiscent of the original 'Galaxy Quest', in the way the movie uses the humor and the science fiction. The movie from 1998 is starred by Tim Allen and Sigourney Weaver.
