Smile

After witnessing a bizarre and traumatic incident with a patient, Dr. Rose Cotter (played by Sosie Bacon) begins to experience terrifying events that she cannot explain. As an overwhelming fear begins to affect every aspect of her life, Rose will be forced to confront her troubled past in order to survive and escape her terrifying new reality, while undertaking an investigation into the disturbing events occurring around her.

'Smile' is directed by newcomer Parker Finn, with a screenplay written by Finn himself. In addition, the feature film will be the adaptation to the big screen of one of his short films, entitled 'Laura Hasn't Slept'. Marty Bowen, Wyck Godfrey, Isaac Klausner and Robert Salerno have joined the project as producers. The cast includes Sosie Bacon ('13 Reasons Why'), Jessie T. Usher ('The Boys'), Kyle Gallner (2022's 'Scream'), Robin Weigert ('Synechdoche, New York'), Caitlin Stasey ('I, Frankenstein'), Kal Penn ('How I Met Your Mother'), Judy Reyes ('Maids and Wicked'), Gillian Zinser ('Savages') and Rob Morgan ('Stranger Things').

The film is produced by Paramount Players and Temple Hill Entertainment and distributed by Paramount Pictures. Smile' is rated "R" for violent content and images of explicit violence.
