Cristi Puiu, a filmmaker known for films like 'The Death of Mr. Lazarescu' or 'Aurora (A common murderer)' returns with a drama full of mystery and history. The film focuses on a neurologist, Lary, who after returning from a busy and tumultuous business trip in Paris, should join a family reunion with his wife to commemorate his father 40 days after of his death. What started as a normal family dinner will soon turn into a non-stop argument and an emotional meeting, where all the guests wait for the priest to begin the ceremony.

The director has had a known cast in Romania formed by Mirela Apostu, Mimi Cornel Branescu, Bogdan Dumitrache, Eugenia Bosânceanu and Dan Dogaru. A co-production between Romania, France, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Republic of Macedonia.
