Plot
After 'The 400 Blows', François Truffaut was introduced in the police genre and adapted an american novel by David Goodis in his next work: 'Shoot the Pianist'.
The film tells the story of Charlie Kohler, a man who after becoming a great concert pianist has to resign itself to working as a musician in a popular cabaret. While he has been able to keep his past hidden for a long time, Charlie must deal with it at the moment when he met a few old acquaintances who now come to ask him for help: his brothers.
'Shoot the Pianist' is a 1960 french crime drama film starring Charles Aznavour, Marie Dubois, Nicole Berger, Albert Rémy, Claude Mansard, Daniel Boulanger, Michèle Mercier and Richard Kanayan.
