She Said

Directed by Emmy Award-winning Maria Schrader, and written by Rebecca Lenkiewicz 'She Said' is based on the novel by the same name written by Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey. This novel tells the story of the New York Times journalists who uncovered the sexual and power abuses that producer Harvey Weinstein had exercised over decades on Hollywood women.

The film stars two-time Oscar nominee, Carey Mulligan, and Zoe Kazan as Twohey and Kantor, respectively. These actresses give life to the journalists responsible for revealing the existing scandals in Hollywood and the different sexual abuses committed by Weinstein. In this way, the journalists of The New York Times became the references when it came to launching the #MeToo movement. A movement that became a social collective that ended years of abuse and aggression towards Hollywood actresses, radically changing American culture.

'She Said' is produced by Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner. Also completing the cast are Patricia Clarkson as Rebecca Corbett, Andre Braugher as Dean Baquet, Samantha Morton as Zelda Perkins, Tom Pelphrey, Adam Shapiro, Jennifer Ehle, Peter Friedman and Mike Houston as the producer Harvey Weinstein.
