Shadaa

In the village of Desi Shadaa, Chadta (Diljit Dosanjh, 'Good News', 'Welcome to New York') is a perpetually single wedding photographer who has already succeeded the standard age for getting married. Under pressure from his parents to find quickly a wife and settle down, Chadta begins to search for his soulmate. His parents are delighted when, after several failed attempts at matchmaking, Chadta seems to connect with a wedding planner named Vanjhali (Neeru Bajwa, 'Jatt & Juliet', 'Proper Patola'). Vanjhali, however, isn't taken by the cultural tradition of marrying by a certain age (or at all) and is largely against the institution of marriage, though she suggests that she and Chadta move in together. Chadta's growing attraction to Vanjhali is complicated by this sudden proximity and by the unexpected appearance of another suitor, Bagh Singh (Jagjeet Sandhu, 'Leila', 'Rocky Mental'), who wishes to charm and marry Vanjhali for her money.

'Shadaa' is written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu ('Qismat', 'Harjeeta', 'Guddiyan Patole', 'Nikka Zalidar'). Joining the cast are Anita Devgan ('Singham', 'Kitty Party'), Ravinder Mand ('Family 420 Once Again', 'Blackia'), Hardeep Gill ('Asfar', 'Thug Life'), with a cameo appearance from Sonam Bajwa ('Best of Luck', 'Super Singh').
