Plot
'Seven Thieves' is a film directed by Henry Hathaway ('Shoot Out', 'Raid on Rommel', 'True Grit', 'Five Card Stud') and produced by Sydney Boehm. The movie is based on the novel 'The Lions At The Kill' by Max Catto.
The film tells the story of Theo Wilkins (Edward G. Robinson), a discredited professor who recruits a young thief, just out of prison, Paul Mason (Rod Steiger), to help him rob a famous casino in Monte Carlo. The plan doesn't seem very complicated: while Theo create a distraction in the casino, Paul and another companion will steal the money. A money which will leave the place in the ambulance. However, plans get complicated.
The film also stars Joan Collins, Eli Wallach, Alexander Scourby, Michael Dante, Berry Kroeger and Sebastian Cabot.
