School Meals Time Graduation

'School Meals Time Graduation' is a Japanese food comedy directed by Ayabe Shinya, with a script by him together with Nagamori Yuji, featuring Chihara Hayato, Tsuchimura Kaho, Sato Taishi in the lead roles.

The plot follows a high school teacher who begins a competition with one of his students to see which of the two is able to prepare the best lunch for break time. In Japan it is very normal for students and the teacher to eat in the same classroom. They do not eat in a common dining room, but rather each group, each class, usually eat together and it is in that space where the battle to get the most delicious dish will begin.

Chihara will play the teacher who will begin this fun comedy lasting one hour and forty-four minutes, in which gastronomy can become a curious way of sharing a passion, of tasting different ingredients, and to generate a good bond between a teacher and his students.

The film will arrive in Spain in the third edition of the Japanese Film Festival Online, dedicated exclusively to Japanese cinema, which will be held between June 5 at 5:00 a.m. (CEST) and June 3 July 2024 at 5:00 a.m. (CEST) and thanks to its online format it will allow us to enjoy several deliveries from home and completely free.
