A specialist in the art market named Ron Hall (Greg Kinnear) has to befriend a beggar (Djimon Hounsou) in order to save his complicated marriage with his wife (Renée Zellweger). The three of them embark on a journey that will change their lives, and Ron will finally reconcile with his father (Jon Voight).
