Romy and Michele's High School Reunion

Romy (Mira Sorvino) and Michele (Lisa Kudrow) are two 28-year-old girls who have known each other their whole lives and live together in Los Angeles. They lead a mundane and unambitious life; Romy works at a car dealership, while Michele is unemployed. Everything changes when Romy learns that there is a high school reunion in Tucson, Arizona, to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their graduation. Determined to impress their former classmates, they try to improve their lives, but when they fail, they choose to invent a life full of successes to prevent the group that humiliated them in high school from doing so again now. So they rent a luxury car and head to the reunion. Once at the reunion, each follows her strategy: Romy claims to have invented Post-it notes, while Michele takes credit for creating glue. However, Heather Mooney (Janeane Garofalo), a cynical former classmate, exposes them, and they are humiliated.

Based on the play 'The Ladies Room' written by Robin Schiff, who is also the screenwriter of the feature film, this movie has become iconic and features a cast that includes Lisa Kudrow, Mira Sorvino, Janeane Garofalo, Alan Cumming, Camryn Manheim, Julia Campbell, Fritin Bauer van Straten, Elaine Hendrix, Justin Theroux, and Jacob Vargas.
