Rioja, Land of the Thousand Wines

La Rioja is wine's home sweet home, and it's also the Spanish city with most projection about good wine internationally. 'Rioja, la tierra de los mil vinos' is a documentary about the land with vineyards that offer a thousand types of different wines.

At the moment, the wine's region counts on the contribution of new and experimented generations. This documentary shows us the equivalence between the territory and the product and between wisdom and tradition. It also shows the long path from the origins of La Rioja to its future.

Through careful edition and photography, the wine's world is shown with a very special lens, the lens of the affection for the work of people who work on doing Spain's very best wine.

The director of this film is José Luis López Lindares and it's produced by Rodrigo Espinel and Morena Films. Through human stories we understand the value chain which human life gives to spaniard wine thanks to the talent and the work of new generations that live with historic cellars.

With original music by Jorge Magaz, the documentarist is Alberto Gil and it's produced by executive Pilar Benito and edited by Mario Pinedo. The production director is Cristina Moñivar and the sound operator is Juan Carlos Cid Torrejón, among other team members.
