'Remainder' is a drama thriller screened in the Panorama section at the 66th Berlin International Film Festival. The movie tells the story of a young man who has a serious problem: his mind is stuck on repeat. After suffering a mysterious accident related to the collapse of some rubble, the young man gets physically and mentally shattered. For this reason, he'll use a particular and unorthodox way to relive those moments of his past. Based on a novel by Tom McCarthy of 2005 with the same name, 'Remainder' means the debut of its director in the realm of fiction with Tom Sturridge, Cush Jumbo and Ed Speleers in the starring roles.
