Forty years ago, 'El crimen de Cuenca' was filmed, a film directed by Pilar Miró, which will later be kidnapped militarily and its director processed. A film that will later become one of the great successes of Spanish cinema and its premiere in an example of the advancement of democracy and freedom of expression. As in the real case and in the movie, El Cepa comes back to tell it. The actor who played the character in Miró's work, Guillermo Montesinos, returns to the filming locations forty years later to meet the neighbors. His visit serves as the guiding thread of the documentary in which specialists, jurists, former institutional managers, screenwriters, team members and actors of Pilar Miró's film such as Mercedes Sampietro or Héctor Alterio will be interviewed.
