Rainbow

A teenager with an extraordinary talent for music named Dora has a strong argument with her father on her birthday and decides to leave home in the company of her dog Totó. With an inner energy difficult to contain, Dora will begin a journey in search of her mother whom she has never met because she disappeared when she was a baby. Along the way, the girl will make new friends on a real road trip to Capital City. Of course, the trip will not be without dangers and enemies who do not want her to discover the truth about her mysterious past. Only Dora's vitality and magic can take her to the end of her journey, which will only be the beginning of another.

Paco León directs 'Rainbow' which he also co-writes with Javier Gullón based on the literary classic 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz' by Lyman Frank Baum. The film mixes different artistic disciplines such as dance, fashion, plastic arts and especially music. The cast is led by singer Dora in her acting debut alongside rapper Ayax Pedrosa, Nigerian artist and cultural agitator Wekaforé Jibril, and established names such as Carmen Maura, Carmen Machi, Luis Bermejo, Hovik Keuchkerian, Samantha Hudson, Carmina Barrios and Soraya Yasmin. We will also see Rosy de Palma and Ester Expósito in a special collaboration.
