Quest

'Quest' is a movie produced by Nanouk Films and La Periférica Producciones and directed by Antonina Obrador.The movie narrates Lluc's story, a biologist marked by his wife Maria's suicide who starts an investigation to catalogue the flora from the place where Maria died: an isolated island called Quest. Staying there, he'll discover that the island is ruled by something inexplicable, something supernatural.

This is Obrador's first movie, a psychological thriller which shows us a story where Lluc will have to face the ghosts from his past in order to put a remedy to the guilt he feels for his wife's passing. The film is starred by Enric Auquer and Laia Manzanares. This story also includes the participation of Maria Arnal and Miquel Gelabert as part of the cast.

A story that's born with solitude, isolation and silence and after creates thoughts, emotions and a path to oneself. The script of 'Quest' starts with a traumatic event and then gives us a plot full of learning, mixing the fantasy genre with science fiction, drama, mystery and horror.

The first part of the movie shows Lluc's monotony, who keeps a scientific analysis after running around the island looking for samples of the flora. Half an hour of footage of ambient sound from Mallorca: the sea, the birds, the wind, the footsteps... After that, we enter the supernatural.
