Queen of the Desert

Werner Herzog directs and writes this film based on the life of the famous traveler, writer, archaeologist, cartographer and policy added the British Empire, Gertrude Bell. Nicole Kidman gets into the skin of the famous writer, accompanied by James Franco, Robert Pattinson and Damian Lewis. The film shows us what life was like Bell during one of the most important moments in the history of modern politics. Around 1920, the political order of the Middle East is changed. Gertrude travel to Tehran where she lived a tragic romantic story with Henry Cadogan, a diplomat, who decided to accompany her on the trip. Gertrude during her trip will meet with various Muslim dignitaries gaining their trust and respect. Soon, Gertrude will become one of the most important mediators of the British Empire and East. Will she meet the expectations expected of her?
