Quan no acaba la nit

A group of friends from the same neighborhood experience the endless nights of partying and clubbing on La Ruta del Bakalao, also known as La Movida Valenciana. At just 18 years old and in the late 80s, in Valencia, excessive partying and the risks caused by alcohol and drugs threaten the friendship of the group of friends and even their lives.

None of our protagonists have a clear objective in life and they spend their days looking for fun in order to escape from their daily problems. The cast of 'Quan no acaba la nit' is starred by five young Valencian actors: Sergio Castillo, Alex Peral, Roberto Hoyo, Álex Monterde and Carla Pascual.

The film captures the essence and spirit of a real time in Valencia in the 80s, where the characters travel through places, moments and experiences that people who have lived the experience will recognize easily. Music, nightlife and popular culture placed Valencia at the pinnacle of club music and La Ruta became a social phenomenon.

It's Óscar Montón's debut as the director of his first fiction feature film. The productors are Xavier Crespo and Óscar Montón himself and the script has been co-written by Tirso Calero, Óscar Montón and Begoña Soler. It is also a production by Audiovisuales Morvedre and Dacsa Produccions, with the support of the Institut Valencià de Cultura and the participation of À Punt Mèdia.
