Psycho-Pass: Providence

In the year 2118 Chief Inspector of the Public Security Bureau, Akane Tsunemori, gets an unexpected report about an incident in a foreign vessel, in which they've discovered the dead body of professor Milicia Stronskaya. The mysterious crime is the work of the Pacifiers, a foreign paramilitary organization who's after the investigation documents of the professor known as the "Stronskaya Document". If the criminal group is able to get the Document they could reveal a truth that would make the Japanese government fall apart, and maybe even the Sibyl system.

'Psycho-Pass: Providence' is a film made in commemoration for the 10th aniversary of the original series, 'Psycho-Pass'. Naoyoshi Shiotani is in charge of directing once again from studio Production I.G., and Makoto Fukami, Gen Urobuchi and Tow Ubukata write the script.

'Psycho-Pass' was on emission in Japan between 2012 and 2014, with a first season of 22 episodes and a second one of 11. In 2019 was released 'Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System', a trilogy of movies that continued the original story from the series. A third season was also released, consisting of 8 episodes. In 2020 they launched 'Psycho-Pass: First Inspector', a mini-series with 4 episodes that closed the third season.
