Prom Dates

'Prom Dates' is an American teen comedy. Directed by Kim Nguyen with a screenplay by D.J. Mausner, this coming of age film premieres directly on streaming on May 3, 2024, on Hulu in the United States and Disney+/Star in other territories. The movie is produced by studios American High, Hartbeat Productions and LD Entertainment.

Jess and Hannah are lifelong best friends who, at 13 years old, made a pact to have the perfect prom night. Years have passed, and as the big day approaches, everything falls apart at the last minute: Jess discovers her boyfriend is cheating on her while Hannah breaks up with hers after finally realizing she is a lesbian.

So, with 24 hours to go before the big event, the two friends must find new dates to fulfill their long-standing promise with each other. After unsuccessfully trying to find partners at their high school, they attend a fraternity party at a university, where things quickly spiral out of control.

'Prom Dates' stars Julia Lester as Hannah and Antonia Gentry as Jess. The film is rounded out with a cast of young talents and a few influencers, such as Kenny Ridwan, JT Neal, Zión Moreno, and Jordan Buhat. John Michael Higgins and Chelsea Handler also appear in the movie.
