Prisoners of the Ghostland

When Bernice (Sofia Boutella) disappears without a trace in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, his rich and well-connected adoptive grandfather, the warlord known as The Governor (Bill Moseley), frees a bank robber from prison (Nicolas Cage) to find her. To accomplish his mission, he forces him to wear a leather suit equipped with bombs that will self-destruct in a period of five days.

In charge of the leadership of 'Prisoners of Ghostland' is the Japanese Sion Sono. The film is written by Aaron Hendry and Reza Sixo Safai. The cast includes actors Nicolas Cage, Sofia Boutella, Ed Skrein, Nick Cassavetes, Narisa Suzuki, Bill Moseley, Takato Yonemoto, Yurino, Shinichiro Shimizu, Grace Santos, Jeffrey Rowe, Saki Ohwada, Charles Glover, Teruaki Ogawa, Christina Virzi, Jai West, Canon Nawata.

About the film, IndieWire says that "renegade Japanese auteur Sion Sono and totally normal American actor Nicolas Cage make some beautiful nonsense together. (...)
